Dr. Locker is a licensed clinical psychologist who provides new skills and empowering strategies to adolescents and adults through individual psychotherapy. With over 30 years of education and experience in her field, she guides patients to make the transformations they want for themselves by using cognitive behavioral therapy, dialectical behavior therapy, psychodynamic psychotherapy, clinical hypnosis and EMDR (EMDRIA certified practitioner).
She has completed both APA approved predoctoral and postdoctoral internships through Yale University. Dr. Locker completed her PhD at California School of Professional Psychology, San Diego and received her BA in psychology through Vassar College. She has worked in multiple inpatient and outpatient hospitals settings, within a college counseling center, through a private outpatient eating disorder program and as a UCLA project director for a CBT teen depression study.
Dr. Locker sees clients virtually and in person. She specializes in treating eating disorders, body image issues, trauma, dissociation, anxiety and depression. In addition, she enjoys being a consultant in her areas of specialization to other mental health professionals. Dr. Locker assists people to transform from feeling blocked in some area of their lives to achieving their own definition of success.
