Have you ever witnessed a situation where someone or many people were in confusion or conflict and you just knew exactly what the solution? And yet, no one asked for your input?
It can be frustrating to watch people struggle, however, it can be important for people to learn in their own way and pace. When we rush for others to understand what we think is the solution, we are really telling them: “I don’t like what you are doing. Do it my way.”
It can be much more loving and accepting to simply let others lead their own lives. Even when they are struggling. If you see someone in confusion or conflict and they are not asking for help – ask yourself the three magic questions: Does it need to be said? Does it need to be said by me? Does it mean to be said by me right now? You’ll be surprised at how often the answer to all three questions is no.
