Have you ever encountered some bit of news or information and suddenly found yourself gripped with worry, or fear? Or perhaps you are struggling to find a solution to a problem and no matter how hard you try, you can’t seem to figure out a solution? The easiest way to get “unstuck” is to first stand up and stretch. By literally changing your posture, you trigger a change in your mental stance. If you truly want to achieve a change in perspective, leave the room you are in. If you are outside, walk to a new location. By changing both your physical stance and your environment, you change how your body, brain, and nervous system function. If you want to change a thought, move a muscle. When you change your thoughts, you change your world.
