Happiness is a brief moment of joy. Maybe someone paid you a compliment, or you reached a long-held goal.  There are so many things in life that can bring us happiness. Unfortunately, because it is based on external events, happiness is fleeting. Contentment, on the other hand, is an internal state. And one we should strive for. If we are constantly seeking a happiness fix, we might miss out on the best part of life: loving and appreciating who we really are inside.
