Resilience is the ability to return to the healthy version of yourself after experiencing stress or other emotional difficulties.
This ability requires being strong, yet flexible. Tough, yet loving. Build up your resilience by witnessing your experiences. Begin by recognizing the major events in your life and your daily experiences while allowing yourself to feel your true feelings and emotions.
When we refuse to feel our true feelings, they store up inside of us and weigh us down. We become heavy and tired from carrying them and lose our ability to be resilient.
Each time you feel your feelings while practicing self-care, you build resilience.
