Life involves so many different relationships. We have relationships with family, friends, lovers, co-workers, and neighbors. We also have a relationship with the news, social media, our body and even the food we eat. When we are not conscious of a relationship, we sometimes start reacting instead of relating. Have you ever seen a social media post, or the numbers on your bathroom scale and found yourself having an immediate, visceral reaction to it? This means you are in a reaction-ship. How do you shift back into a relationship? For some of us, just realizing that you can have a relationship with your own body and what you put into it is the key. Being loving, mindful about your choices, and forgiving to yourself and others are the key foundations to healthy relationships.
